Author’s Statement

For the past ten years I have done nothing but study the condition of women in this country. This research is important because the American woman is uniquely placed in time where she can not only change the status of woman she can forever affect the world and all of its systems. The problem is the American woman does not realize she has this power. During maturation blinders are placed over her mind where many American women never realize their potential. She is expected to forever be obsessed with lipsticks, eye shadow and getting everyone to like her. The entire cosmetic and breast surgery industry is founded on the lack of self esteem and comparisons, fields dominated by male practitioners. Of the women wearing blinders some women end up in a ditch with a bullet through their brain when their husband decides they are in the way of his new girlfriend or the woman’s life insurance will help him save his business. Some women end up in the sewer after believing the sweet talk of enterprising young men who convince the woman her body should be sold rather than cherished. The other women end up in a home trying to raise four or five children alone after being abandoned once the pregnancies begin that is if the man doesn’t have courage to kill her to avoid child support.

It is important for you to realize with all of the advances made in communication nothing has been said in this nation regarding the actual condition of females raising children alone. Nothing has been said about the number of women abandoned after marriage and very little has been said about the number of pregnant women being murdered. Raising children alone is the singular most wretched state for a human being. Imagine always being your own support. It is now time that we recognized that we must begin ministered to women with a greater commitment if we are to save this nation. I believe that this country is facing a crisis that no one wants to acknowledge. We must rise about innuendoes and insinuations about the morality of women raising children alone. Do not fool yourself just because you are living in a nice home with husband and a mortgage you are no different that the woman down the street struggling to raise her children alone. In a second of time you can loose everything you have if your husband decides to betray you. You can remove the blinders placed on your mind by society through change, resist the conditioning.

Since I choose to advocate for social change I have decided my life’s task will be to work toward the elevation of women. To me the best medium for communication is the written word, words last they are remembered and can be read over and over again. You and you alone shall determine whether or not I have accomplished my assignment. The books I have written present a frank discourse that requires an open and honest discussion among brave women to provide leadership to their sons and daughters. I have tried to open doors to provide much for you to consider. If we are to survive, we must have a common reality the advocacy of one another. There are questions we must ask and answer.

You must ask yourself how long have I been walking around blind and numb, oblivious to the forces affecting my life? It is now time to participate in the destiny of my life. Following is no longer an option. In order to live a better life you must remove the blinders and take a look at your behavior and change. The use of fear as an excuse not to change is beyond being deceitful. One of the most pathetic behaviors for a man or a woman is to blame someone else for his or her misfortune or lack of opportunity or keep using the word "if". If you live in poverty, you do not have time for a pity party wasting your mental energy reflecting on the past. The past is dead, concede this fact and move on. If it will make you feel any better, sit down have your wake, scream and holler at life's injustices, beat the table, fall out on the floor, then stand up and meet the day. Unless you meet the challenge of change your children have no hope for the future because so much of their behavior is predicated on what you say and what you do and not do each and everyday. The greatest question you will ever have to ask yourself is, "How great is the love I have for my child?" If you love yourself more than you love your child, your life will reflect it and every one will know. If you love your child more than you love yourself your life will reflect it and God will know. Remember God so loved the world that He sent His son to save man. Are you to do any less for your child? God brought man into the world and He fulfilled His responsibility as a parent when He sent Jesus to earth to deliver man from the curse caused by Adam’s failure.

Hebrew 2:16 …For it is clear that it is not the angels that he helps. Instead, he helps the descendants of Abraham. This means that Jesus had to become like his people in every way, in order to be their faithful and merciful High Priest in his service to God, so that the people's sin would be forgiven. And now Jesus can help those who are tempted, because he himself was tempted and suffered.

Whether you like it or not when you brought your children into the world God called you to be a mother and you must take up this responsibility and change. You do have to answer to your children for your behavior, because sooner or later they shall ask you why were they not worth enough to you for you to fight for them. They will not accept the answer from you that "I did the best I could" when they look around and see that your best is less than everyone else’s best. If you do not believe you did your best, what makes you think your children will believe it?

“But if thous shalt indeed obey His voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies and an adversary unto thine adversaries.”
